We are currently seeking a full time Civil Engineer-3D Civil Designer for our Limerick, PA office.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, organized, technology-oriented, proficient with CAD software, and has experience building the 3D models for site work contractors to use in their heavy/highway equipment. The ideal candidate must be able to follow proper procedures, perform accurate calculations, and work in a team environment.  Local candidates are preferred.

Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, surveying, or related field or equivalent combination of experience.
• At least 3-years of extensive experience using CAD software for land development or heavy/highway 3D design or modeling.
• Mastery of CAD software
• Experience with earthwork quantity takeoffs
• Experience with survey setup and calculations
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong focus on quality

Responsibilities:

The employee’s primary responsibility will be to create 3D construction models for our Heavy/Highway customers, using a variety of software programs, including Terramodel, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and Carlson Takeoff.  We use the original design/permitting plans to build the 3D construction models, providing a survey-quality digital version of the finished grade.  Our process is highly focused on quality control and delivering a high quality product to our clients.
